Dispatch

DISPATCH

Terms of service.

Dispatch is a free mail client for the Mac. By using it, you agree to these terms.

The app

Dispatch is a desktop app that connects your Mac to your mail accounts, such as Gmail, Microsoft 365 or any IMAP host. It is developed by Fynn Starke and provided free of charge. There is no Dispatch account and no Dispatch server: the app runs on your Mac and acts only on what you tell it to do.

Your accounts

  • Add only mail accounts you are allowed to use.
  • Your mail providers' own terms keep applying to your accounts, for Gmail the Google Terms of Service.
  • You are responsible for the mail you send with Dispatch and for keeping your Mac and your accounts secure.
  • Don't use Dispatch to send spam or for anything unlawful.

Your data

The privacy policy describes what Dispatch accesses, stores and shares: in short, your mail stays with your provider and nobody else receives it.

No warranty

Dispatch is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. It may contain bugs, and actions you take in it, such as deleting or moving mail, take effect on your mail server. To the extent the law allows, its developer is not liable for any loss or damage from using it, including lost or deleted mail. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for intent or gross negligence.

Changes

Dispatch may change or stop at any time. These terms may change too; the date below shows when they last did. If you keep using Dispatch after a change, the new terms apply.
